On Saturday, police released a surveillance video of the deadly shooting of friend Ice-T and filmmaker Joseph “Taheim” Bryan in hopes of identifying the cat.
The images showed the suspect, who was wearing black pants, a white sweatshirt and a hat and mask, walking through the entrance of a garage in Long Island City, Queens, while talking on the phone Thursday night.
The man then left the garage and walked down the street until he came to a new Mercedes, parked on Jackson Avenue near Queens Boulevard, and opened fire on Bryan, who was sitting in the driver’s seat.
After the shooting, the gunman jumped into a dark SUV on the corner of Queens Boulevard and fled the area with a getaway driver, police said.
Bryan, 50, had just written and produced the movie “Equal Standard,” starring his friend Ice-T. He was also a longtime friend of rapper Nas.

A friend told The Post Saturday that Bryan was on the cusp of “doing it” in show biz and had no known enemies.

“That’s why he’s killing the whole family. I had no enemies around here, not as far as I know, ”said Gilbert Cantres, a lifelong friend who was married to Bryan’s sister.
“That was my brother,” he said. “He was my brother-in-law, but he was more like a brother to me.”
On Friday, Ice-T tweeted that his friend and collaborator left behind a wife and daughter
“MFs Killed my friend last night,” Ice-T wrote next to it, about a picture of them two being with Mobb rapper Depp Havoc and another friend.
“I am not in a good position behind this. Taheim was a GOOD man who made positive moves. “
