Officials said police were initially called to a home on Cannon Street for a domestic nuisance, but when they arrived at the home, they saw flames and called fire crews to the scene.

The victim was identified as Viola Miller. Authorities said he died before the fire.
Daytona Beach police said they arrested Deandra Anderson, 33, on Monday. He is charged with first-degree murder and is being held without bail in the Volusia County Jail.
Relatives said her grandmother lived here with someone before all this happened.
“He did a lot for people,” said Miller’s granddaughter Katrina Butler. “Like her, she went to the coalition and fed the homeless. He did a lot. He really did. ”
Authorities are working to find out how Miller died and what caused the house fire. Relatives said they are devastated.
“You don’t even have to like it, but if you have nothing and nowhere to go it will be there for you,” Butler said.
Authorities said a person who called told police the woman was attacked by a man who lived here. Detectives said a man was found walking away from home when they arrived at the scene. That man is now in police custody and is being investigated by investigators.
