After appearing his name in the request of measures of coercion of the Operation Falcon, spread by the Public Ministry, the senator of the province Monsignor Nouel, Héctor Acosta (the Torito), denied any type of entailment or summons for the case.
In a statement posted on his social networks, Torito denies that he has been cited by the authorities of the Attorney General’s Office and any link with the person associated with him within Operation Falcon.
“It is false that he has been summoned or requested by the authorities of the Attorney General’s Office. On the other hand, I have no employment, social or political ties with Mr. Ivan Paulí de Jesús from whom I have distanced myself since 2007” .
He specified that Paulí de Jesús, who is mentioned in the Public Prosecutor’s Office file, acted as his driver for a “short space” when Eduardo Acosta his “current and lifelong driver” was unwell.
On the other hand, he said that he supports all the investigations carried out by the Public Ministry and that he will never support the “wrongdoing”.
