The trademark of the potential Final Fantasy VII Remake DLC is expanding in the US

Remake of Final Fantasy VII

On the back of several Square Enix trademark listings that went public last month related to Final Fantasy VII Remake, the term “Ever Crisis” has it has now been expanded to cover the US as well. It was introduced six days ago and now means the brand covers Japan, Europe, Canada and Australia, as well as America. There’s no word on the other recent brands coming out of Square Enix (“The First Soldier” and the Shinra logo) at the time of writing.

However, there is now another trademark that joins these three. Now recorded in Europe, the United States and Australia, “The Isle Dragon Roars” is making fans speculate on whether it relates to the recent PlayStation 4 remake or the upcoming Nintendo Switch title Bravely Default II. We’ll have to wait and see what happens to this one.

Either way, there’s a chance that Final Fantasy VII Remake news will be shared this weekend as part of a digital concert in Japan. Game co-director Motomu Toriyama has mocked a “special show” related to last year’s remake. “There will be some things related to Final Fantasy VII Remake that will only be revealed in this concert.” However, this translation has been discussed since the publication of Gematsu. The event will take place on February 13, 2021, so everything will be revealed soon.
