The Twitter profile of the vice president of Apple’s environment announces the preparation for the September event

Apple’s vice president of Environment, Policy and Social Initiatives, Lisa Jackson, apparently mocked the recording of Apple’s event in September, changing her Twitter profile picture.

Updated Sunday i seen by IOS developer Noah Evans, Jackson’s Twitter profile photo account has been updated. The photograph features Jackson, but the background is more interesting to industry observers.

The setting for Jackson’s impromptu image is of a set that appears regularly in Apple Event presentations, consisting of a circular room with concentric circles on the ceiling. The blank space has several cases on wheels, of the type normally used to house broadcast or concert equipment, alongside lights and other equipment.

The image suggests Jackson was recording his part for one of Apple’s upcoming events, which is currently scheduled to take place in September, as usual. It is unclear what the segment will include, but given Jackson’s role, it is likely to be related to environmental or social initiative.
