Ortega Vall he asked the Court to favor him with a compassionate preliberation for the risk of contracting covid-19 in prison.

The 31-year-old Honduran argued in his petition that in 2012 in an armed attack he received seven shots to the arm, chest and abdomen, and that he suffers from lung problems.
The rejection letter indicates that despite the aftermath of the injuries, he has had no complaints of lung disease and has a stable state of health.
In 2018, Valle Valle’s nephew was sentenced to eight years in prison, after pleading guilty to conspiracy to enter cocaine into U.S. territory.
Ortega Valle is being held in the McRae CI Low Security Prison, located in the state of Georgia.
