TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras.- the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ) reported on Tuesday that 3 Hondurans have been requested for extradition by the United States.
The identities of those requested are kept secret so that the detention process is not spoiled.

Rolando Argueta, President of the Judiciary, convene a Plenary Session of Magistrates to elect the judges who will hear the case and must determine whether extradition is appropriate or not.

Since 2013 to date, Honduras has delivered to the United States 23 characters involved in drug trafficking.
The first extradited to the northern nation was the drug trafficker Carlos “The Black” Wolf, Sentenced to 20 years in prison.
He was followed by the main leaders of the Vall Vall cartel, Luis Alonso and Miguel Arnulf Vall, who had their operations center in the western area.
Also, Héctor Emilio Fernández Rosa, Carlos Emilio Arita, Joan Carles Arbizu and Ludwig Criss Zelaya.
Most extradited people are serving sentences of more than ten years in prison in the United States.
