There is a demo version of Metroid Prime running and it has a demo

Nintendo, do something with this series in addition to delaying it

Metroid Prime it is a classic. I don’t think this can be debated. Is it like that.

Nintendo thinks so! That’s why it was released nine years later as a trilogy on the Wii after its GameCube debut in 2002. But since that 2009 edition of Wii, the series has remained dormant. I mean, presumably, there’s another one in the works. But that could happen years ago right now. Enter the fandom.

There is still a huge collective concentration around the Metroid franchise in general, as well as the First series. One of these groups managed to create a demake of Metroid Prime, which is now available in demo form. This demonstration involves the Tallon Overworld, Artifact Temple, and the ruins of Chozo, but the team “needs to devote more time” to working on it to expand that setup.

The demonstration itself is the result of five years of “Team SCU” work. Presumably to avoid legal issues, the team says that this project is “Prime 2D”, although I’m not sure it will be enough if Nintendo really wants to nail it.

Since I will inevitably receive the “thanks Destructoid, you personally sent an email to Nintendo to leave this closed.” messages, I will observe here the creators of the project publishes a public post for the demo, and “Let’s Plays” is now on YouTube (like the following), one of the world’s largest video platforms, for public viewing. The “secret” is out!
