Sure sure, okay, it’s probably of interest to very specific types of people, but if it’s you, congratulations, my friend. You just found the soundtrack for your next few hours.
By this time, you’ve probably heard of lo-fi hip-hop radio: rhythms to study / relax, an endless radio-style playlist that contains nothing but soft, distraction-free, perfect music. to study / relax in. It has become visually synonymous with “Lofi Girl,” an anime-style animation of a girl writing in a notebook with headphones on.
In making Alex Chen’s version of Lofi Girl, Deck Nine has included references to Life is Strange (Hot Dog Man!) And lots of voice lines from the game scattered among the songs. Also, it’s a pretty enjoyable hour-long playlist to listen to while working (or studying / relaxing), and while the song names don’t show up, we assume they all belong in the game.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to check until Life is Strange: True Colors arrives on Nintendo Switch and we do not know when that is. The game came out on the rest of the platforms last week, September 9th. Take a look at this space for more details as we know them.
