Diego Ordinola, a reporter for Directv Sports, and his camera were making a connection from the outskirts of the Monumental Stadium in Guayaquil, home of Barcelona in Ecuador, when a subject assaulted them with a gun in his hand.
The communicator shared on social media that the events took place on February 12 and everything was recorded as they were in full transmission.
A subject, in a gray shirt and who took advantage of the mouthpiece to cover his face, arrived when Ordinola made his connection and aimed it with the pistol, while the reporter told him “we are working”.
The assailant asks for his cell phones, while he handcuffs Diego’s microphone and ends up taking his phone to the camera to start running.
