Agents of the Directorate for the Fight Against Drug Trafficking (Dlcn), In the Suyapa neighborhood of the Entrance, Copán, arrested Jairon Alexander Ayala Mejía and Ruth Mariela Rapalo Arita in possession of alleged cocaine which they intended to remove from the country by means of handicrafts.
At the time of the housing review they found plastic jars of exposica resin for the elaboration of ornaments and in which supposedly they were camouflaged with the cocaine hydrochloride, practice very used in countries of South America.
In this same case seized 6 wooden molds, four silicone molds, 3 ornaments of exhibition resin, a bag containing 28 grams of alleged cocaine, as well as a bag with 269 grams of drugs, a digital scale and two cell phones.

On the other hand, in the Toncontín International Airport, In a routine inspection by the agents of the Directorate for the Fight against Drug Trafficking installed in this air terminal, a dog warned that some type of illegal substance was being transported in a luggage.
When agents required a two citizens they were trying to travel to the city of Miami, USA, they were asked to open their luggage and in three white jars carrying honey, they found fake compartments where alleged cocaine was being transported.
The entire confiscation was sent to the Forensic Medicine Directorate for the toxicology laboratory to issue an opinion indicating that it is in fact cocaine.
