Those enrolled in the program do not have to submit documentation for their work permits, as they are automatic, the only requirement to receive the benefit is to have enrolled in the last listing. Ricardo Porta, an expert on migration issues, pointed out that the expansion of the program opens the gap for Hondurans to obtain permanent residence in the future and then citizenship.
The extension to the program also covers Tepesians of El Salvador, Nicaragua, Nepal and Sudan.
