They file a complaint against DeShaun Watson; QB of Texans says it yearns to clear its name

HOUSTON – After attorney Tony Buzbee said in an Instagram post that he had filed a lawsuit against DeShaun Watson, the Texans quartetrback posted a message on social media in which he notes that he is anxious to clear his name.

Watson responded to Twitter on the news of the lawsuit by saying he was rejecting “a six-figure deal for an unfounded lawsuit” and that this “is about clearing my name and I’m looking forward to doing so.”

Buzbee did not specify the allegations against Watson in his post, but referred to the behavior with a woman and later told Fox 26 in Houston that “Watson went too far” with a woman giving him a message.

“I’ve never treated any woman with anything other than the utmost respect,” Watson said in his post.

Buzbee is well known in the Houston area for his law firm and an unsuccessful campaign against Mayor Sylvester Turner in 2019.
