However, this 2021 would mean the triumphant return of the actor, as it was recently announced that it will be next February will begin recording the series ‘Malverde: The Holy Patron’, where Colunga will play the role in “The Robin Hood of the Mexicans” and will be broadcast by Telemundo.

In the clip, the 54-year-old actor looks identical to the famous character, with the mustache that characterizes him, a scar on his left eyebrow and disheveled, contrasting a bit with the serious and always salad image to which we are accustomed.
In some interviews, the gallant has stated that it is a great honor that this character has come to him, for the meaning he has for many people; not only for people who are engaged in the illicit trade in substances, but also for all those people who helped in their time.
In addition, he noted that the project means a great challenge in his acting career, so he was absent from television for several years, because he expected a different story in which he had worked.
