Police officers seized it on Tuesday 23 bundles of alleged cocaine in Sonaguera, Columbus, Honduran Atlantic coast.
The operation of public security agents also left 20 weapons of short and long range fire confiscated. In addition to 12 magazines for different weapons, three bags with ammunition, a vehicle and 10 packages with money (amount not specified).

The operation was coordinated by the National Anti-Drug Police Directorate (DNPA), the National Directorate of Border Police Services (DNSPF) and the National Directorate of Special Forces (DNFE).
After investigations in the region, near the city of Tocoa, the most populated in the department, proceeded to confiscate the packages with alleged cocaine and weapons.
Drugs, weapons and money were hidden in compartments or ‘coves’ inside a house. Other packages remained buried in the same sector.

Finally, it was reported that the seizure has left no people captured, but that an investigation has been opened that will seek to determine the origin and links of the drug and criminal organizations.
