On Sunday, Secretary of Justice Emanuelli Hernández and Aguadilla District Attorney José Aldebol Colom reported that Judge Juan M. Guzmán Escobar of the Aguadilla Court of First Instance determined a probable cause for arrest against Edwin Soto Medina for acts lascius against two minors, setting a bail of $ 25,000.
The investigation of the case was carried out by the public prosecutor Jose I. Rivera Loperena in coordination with Agent Mónica Ubiñas of the Division of Sexual Crimes Aguadilla. The events took place between June and September 2019 in Aguada, when the defendant committed misconduct with minors on multiple occasions separately.
