Ximena Hita, a renowned Mexican model, was found dead on January 1 within hours of sharing in her Instagram a message to say goodbye to 2020 and welcome in 2021.

The young model was only 21 years old and had a promising future in the fashion world. His body was found dead in his home, although the causes of death are not yet known, authorities said.
“Ximena, we will always remember you; thank you for all your love for building an inclusive and values-based society, we will always carry your legacy,” the Miss Mexico corporation wrote on Instagram after announcing the sad news.

Although authorities have not given an official version of the cause of death, local media have noted that the model would have taken her own life with a drug overdose.
Aguascalientes Police said they had heard a call from police in the municipality of the same name who found the model in her apartment, Hita was taken to a hospital in the residential area of Parc, in the capital city, but he no longer had vital signs.
