The Aibonito Area Investigation Corps reported this morning that they found in Coamo the lifeless body of Angie Noemí González Sants, The nurse and mother, 29, who had been reported missing by her husband since Jan. 15 this year.
Lieutenant Héctor Maldonado has indicated that they arrived at the scene after González Sants’ partner confessed to killing her. The man admitted to throwing the body on a precipice.
The body was found in the neighborhood of Coamo Above on the road PR-555, kilometer 4.8, in the said municipality.
“We found the body on a precipice of about 30 feet. We continued the investigation with the lifting of videos and evidence. We interviewed the young woman’s partner again and he himself confessed the facts and took us to this area where we place the facts “, Maldonado narrated.
González Sants’ body showed signs of violence.
The woman’s husband is Roberto Félix Rodríguez Díaz, 35, who reported her missing and is now the main suspect in the crime, so he is under arrest.
According to Maldonado, Rodríguez Díaz allegedly killed his wife the same day he reported her missing, “because he had not returned to his home.” The man is a mechanic by profession and the father of the three surviving daughters of González Sants, according to the Uniformed.
The lieutenant, however, did not report what the motive for the murder was or the circumstances under which it occurred.
“No weapon was recovered at the scene,” Maldonado argued.
The lieutenant stated that Rodríguez Díaz also confessed why he murdered his wife, but all the information remains confidential until the case is submitted to the court for the filing of charges.
At the moment, Agent Ocasio of the Homicide Division of the Criminal Investigation Corps of the CIC of Aibonito and prosecutor Víctor Cassià are investigating these facts.
