THANK GOD, HONDURES.– The Armed Forces carried out the insurance of one in the early hours of this Tuesday morning plane allegedly loaded with drugs who crashed in The Honduran Mosquitia, Department of Thanksgiving.
The suspicious aircraft was identified upon entering Honduran airspace at about 1:25 a.m. in the Carabiner sector, so authorities immediately activated the air shield by applying the security protocols set forth in the Airspace Act.

After intercepting and tracking him through eye contact, the aircraft type trace of hitherto unknown origin, it was found that the same tried to land in a sector where it finally crashed.
When it touched down, the aircraft crashed into trees causing flames from the spilled fuel and burning mostly. However, when the area was secured by Special Forces personnel, a cross-fire confrontation with the criminals took place, causing several perforations in one of the stubborn military helicopters in the operation.
Finally, the Special Forces managed to arrest a citizen who was confiscated about 60 meters from where the narco-plane crashed.
According to the preliminary report this person is originally from Maraita, Francisco Morazán, and was part of a group of 60 men who were in the vicinity of the landing area to unload the drug.

Authorities confirmed they did not report any injuries, despite the collision and the crash of the plane that burned 90 percent.
Operations are still in development establishing a security perimeter to continue reconnaissance. So far it is not possible to determine what type and how many drugs he was carrying. Among the finds at the site, a GPS was confiscated indicating the coordinates of where the ship was to land.
