The IFAB, which explained at today’s meeting with the participation of FIFA President Gianni Infantino, has reported in a statement the decisions taken.

. Since the interpretation of hand infractions has not always been consistent due to incorrect application of the rule, IFAB members confirmed that not every touch of the ball with the hand / arm of a player is an infraction.
