Last Wednesday, the controversial presenter was prosecuted for an alleged tax offense in excess of 12 million pesos ($ 602,004) when he sold a property seized by the Tax Administration Service (SAT), and was remanded in custody.

That said, it was intended to ensure compliance with a debt of 13,769,000 pesos ($ 690,750) and when it was marketed it incurred the crime of “unfaithful depositary” for which it could be punished by three to nine years in prison.

Through his lawyers, Bozzo promoted a shelter with the aim of obtaining a temporary suspension that would prevent his capture, arguing health problems.

This is not the first conflict that Bozzo has with the Mexican tax authorities, as in 2018 she was accused of tax evasion for 17 million pesos ($ 853,007), for not having paid various taxes.
