TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras.- The video of the interview that an agent of the Drug Control Administration (DEA) to alleged Honduran drug trafficker Geovanny Fonts after his arrest in Miami, United States, was released on Tuesday.
In the material, which was presented by the Prosecution in New York Court, Sources admitted that he knew “The Cachiros”, who today testify against him.

The agent asked the defendant if he knew “Els Cachiros” and Geovanny replied yes, but that he never did business with them.
“I met them … I once saw them at a party. I met the two of them (Devis Leonel, Javier Eriberto Rivera Maradiaga) and another of their brothers: his name is Isidro,” Fonts explained.
The Honduran said he had conversations with them, “but never, we had any kind of illicit negotiations with them. You have them here, you can ask.”

The DEA agent then asked him if he knew the “National Grenadiers” company and the alleged boss who did and belonged to businessman Fuad Jarufe, with whom he worked when he was just a young man.
The revelations were made by the boss on the day he was arrested at Miami airport in early 2020.
