Independent producers, associated with productive forms and state-owned enterprises will be able to purchase, through the freely convertible currency (MLC) stores in Cuba, tractors, Belarus and New Holland, from Belarus and Brazil, respectively.
Independent producers interested in these equipment, marketed by the Logistics Business Group of the Ministry of Agriculture (Gelma), must submit the documentation that accredits them as a producer and for land tenure, specifies this entity in the your Facebook page.
The Ministry of Agriculture negotiates the incorporation into the marketing of 32 new national production lines, such as multilayer sacks for coal, tray for eggs, boots, vinyl paints, gloves, jute sacks, wagons, multiarados, flat files, buckets plastics, multipurpose boxes and sanitation products.
The modality of trade in MLC has been an opportunity that, since September 10 last year, Gelma has taken advantage, in the name of looking for alternatives to the difficulties caused by the resurgence of the blockade.
With this sale to producers, they have managed to raise about $ 300,000, according to the MINAG website. Initially, conditions were created in 16 centers located in the provincial capitals; while the first experiment was carried out in three establishments located in Havana, Vila Clara and Santiago de Cuba. However, seven shopping centers are currently in operation and eight more are expected to open.
Some 2,000 customers have visited the establishments and made 628 purchases, most of which belong to producers and only 17 to the business sector.
