They would cancel the series Monarch by Salma Hayek

Mexico City- The Monarch emporium and the Carranza family sink in and out of the screen.

And it is that Osvaldo Benavides, one of the protagonists of the Netflix series produced by Salma Hayek, hinted at the possible cancellation of the project.

“Given the lack of news … I’m saying goodbye to #AndresCarranza. What a nice project. Thank you for everything @monarcalaserie and all of us who were here. What a pride to have participated. It goes bye. #Tbt #monarch,” Benavides wrote .

The story follows the Carranza, an important Mexican family that owns a renowned tequila factory, after the death of the patriarch and how they have struggled with power, lies, intrigue, corruption and crime in Mexico.

The series, which premiered its second season this year, also features stellar performances by Irene Azuela and Juan Manuel Bernal, who commented on Benavides’ post on Instagram.

“I luv u (I love you). Brother,” posted Aixa, Ana Maria’s interpreter.

“What a pride to have done it with all this wonderful crew! No one takes that away from me! And the enormous satisfaction of giving the viewer a first world product, as we think all of Latin America deserves! I want you Bro “Goodbye to the #Carranza! Hugs to you!”, Said Bernal, who gives life to Joaquín.

Fernando Rovzar, producer and director of the series, had unofficially ensured the continuation of the show.

It is a production of Hayek, through his company Ventanarosa, and Lemon Studios.

So far, neither the directors nor Hayek nor Netflix have confirmed a third season or the end of the series.
