The Met Gala, also known as the Costume Institute Gala, is a charity event that kicks off the annual fashion show at the New York City Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. ?? This year, it should have been done in May but due to the Covid-19 pandemic it was postponed for four months later.
the with Gala was held this past Monday, September 13, which coincided with the end of New York Fashion Week. Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian and Billie Eilish were some of the artists who caught the most attention with their costumes. Originally from Colombia, only Maluma and I attended J Balvin.
The performer of ‘Happy the Four’ attended accompanied by designer Donatella Versace. For her look, Maluma chose a red leather suit depicting the American cowboy, well known for Hollywood cowboy movies. Instead, J Balvin showed up at the gala in a black dress with colorful flowers. The design is by Moschino and was done by designer Jeremy Scott.

In addition, the musician from Medellín decided to wear a mask in which only his eyes and the particular jewels around his neck that represent his musical stamp could be noticed. However, this last detail was key as he then showed in his Instagram stories the marks they left on his neck and neck.

“Very ugly”, “This happens to him as extravagant”, “Ice”, “This happens to many people, they are allergic to -jewelry- fantasy, not only to him”; “He Missed the Motorcycle and Bicycle Chains” and “He Missed the Arepas Necklace,” were just some of the comments that criticized Balvin on different social networks.
