After weeks of rumors, Samsung has finally announced its next Galaxy unpacking event scheduled for January 14, and could not have come at a better time, because recently several new leaks have spilled the beans on what we hope to see in Samsung’s next big product showcase.
Perhaps the biggest new leak is coming YouTuber digital slang who recently released a very detailed first impression video with the following Samsung high-end wireless headphones: the Galaxy Buds Pro. Although the video arrived a couple of weeks before the expected official debut of Galaxy Buds Pro, Digital Slang was able to install a previous version of the Galaxy Wear app to pair the Galaxy Buds Pro with a Galaxy Fold 2 and check almost all its features.
Similar to the older ones Galaxy Buds +, the Galaxy Buds Pro has a closed design that passively blocks ambient noise, but with a significantly smaller casing than Digital Slang says is quite light and comfortable. In addition, Samsung has also given Galaxy Buds Pro an active noise cancellation technology with a new ambient sound mode that can be activated automatically if you hear nearby voices, a feature that can be very useful if you need to quickly appear in a store and ask a question without having to remove or play with the settings of the Galaxy Buds Pro.
As with previous Galaxy Buds, the Galaxy Buds Pro also comes with touch controls built into each headset and a wireless charging case. Unfortunately, while digital jargon says the Galaxy Buds Pro sounds really good, it says its ANC performance is a bit poor, though it may be because it uses a pre-production version of the Galaxy Wear app or because Samsung has not yet released the version final firmware of the Galaxy Buds Pro.

Ultimately, the appeal of the Galaxy Buds Pro will depend on this ANC performance, especially with a new leak of Mobile stating that the Galaxy Buds Pro is expected to cost just $ 200, a total of $ 50 less than the AirPods Pro.
In addition to Samsung’s upcoming wireless headphones, Winfuture claims to have discovered new official photos and information on the Galaxy S21 Ultra’s S-Pen and a new lid case for the S21 Ultra that includes built-in pencil storage. While not as small or flashy as the S pens that normally come with Galaxy Note phones, the S21 Ultra’s stylus still has the same pressure sensitivity. Wacom digitizer along with a few built-in buttons to erase notes, control music or serve as a remote shutter for the S21 Ultra’s camera. The S21 Ultra’s S-Pen is also said to still be compatible Samsung Air Shares, and thanks to its larger size, it can even be more comfortable to use than the super-thin pencils that usually come with Galaxy Note phones. However, unlike the Galaxy Note line, the S-Pen of the S21 Ultra will not be included and instead will be available separately with an expected price of about 40 euros (about $ 50).
Finally, in a play that seems designed to surpass that of Apple long rumors AirTags in the market, 91 mobiles says Samsung is also preparing to launch Galaxy SmartTags, which are small Bluetooth-based tracking dongles. Similar to Tile followers and Apple’s still unreleased AirTags, Samsung’s SmartTags are supposed to be attached to object like keys or a backpack to help you find them more easily if they are ever lost. Samsung’s SmartTags are expected to be available in black and oatmeal with a price tag of about $ 20.
So, among all the versions of the Galaxy S21, the Galaxy Buds Pro and now the Galaxy SmartTags, are at least three different products that we hope to see in the Galaxy Unpacked 2021. And with almost two weeks remain to finish until the event, it is possible that from time to time we may see even more devices.
