Of 4,352 samples processed in the last 24 hours, 824 have tested positive for coronavirus in the Dominican Republic with a positivity of 29.34%, according to epidemiological bulletin # 283, given this Sunday by the Ministry of Public Health.
The report reports zero deaths and is the second day in a row that no deaths have been reported in the country by covid-19.
However, hospitalizations remain high with 830 in different medical centers affected by covid-19 disease, by 33% of occupied beds.
As for critically ill patients, in Intensive Care Units there are 228 for 51% and 121 have ventilators, which represents 33% of the 365 in the country.
The active cases add up to 35,756 and the total number of infected is 166,764. Deaths remain at 2,404.
