Over the last few years, the LEGO Ideas program has given fans the tools to create and present some wonderful concepts with the brick format. Although several sets have been released, Zelda fans have been unsuccessful in their attempts to file a petition to a set based on Nintendo’s Zelda franchise. However, this did not stop user Artem Biziaev from sharing his vision of an impressive Hyrule Castle set. Based specifically on The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the castle would consist of 2600 pieces and will feature Minifigs of Link, Zelda, Ganondorf, a Stalfos, a member of the Royal Guard and Anju.
Below you can find a picture of the castle and more pictures on the LEGO Ideas page here.

The interesting thing about this set is the effort made to really channel the heart Ocarina of time. From the Temple of Time, to the inclusion of four pieces of the choir, there is incredible attention to detail. If this set got the green light from LEGO and Nintendo, it’s safe to say it would become a must-see for Zelda fans.
Although previous Zelda sets have been published via LEGO Ideas before, it’s worth noting that the odds are a bit higher, this time. After all, in 2020 a line of the company’s Super Mario sets was launched, as well as the launch of a LEGO version on Nintendo’s entertainment system. While the figures in the LEGO Mario line have not followed the classic Minifig format, it is entirely possible that a Zelda set will follow a bit more traditional.
For those unfamiliar with the LEGO Ideas program, fans can sign a petition to show LEGO that there is interest in acquiring the shared concept. As concepts reach larger milestones, users have more time to attract signatures. At this time, the idea for the Hyrule Castle project has 602 days remaining and 1,390 followers. It will take a lot more than that to get LEGO’s attention, so Zelda fans who want to see how the set gets will want to show a little love for the project.
