“I find it hard to believe that we raised so much in such a short time, for me it’s an amazing thing, it’s a very good thing to know that people trust me to help others,” Espina told Diari La Premsa.

Eduardo Espina is grateful to the 3,000 people who donated to gofundme, and who have contacted the family of the dead to begin with the delivery of the funds raised.
“Part of it will go to the family who lost their two children, and another to their cousin who is in serious condition at a Texas hospital due to the same accident,” he said.

Carlos indicated that the $ 76,000 will be earmarked in four parts for the father and mother of the dead, for the cousin who is in the hospital, and for the father of the cousin.
For security reasons the money will be distributed among the grieving family in the US and Honduras, and following the permitted shipping protocols, said the young Carlos.
