Tom Brady casts a serious shadow on ESPN

Maybe Tom Brady has a future working in sports media, maybe not with ESPN.

The Buccaneers quarterback didn’t seem happy with the network’s “SportsCenter” Twitter account after he was quoted talking about rookie quarterbacks on his “Let’s Go” podcast, without linking to the show.

“Looks like the days of including the link to the show are gone …” Brady responded with a budget Tweet and a link to the podcast.

Coincidentally, Brady’s last tweet before applauding again included a trailer for “Man in the Arena,” a program about Brady that will happen to air on ESPN + this fall. There were no links in this Brady tweet.

While the “SportsCenter” account may have lost the link to Brady’s podcast, ESPN NFL member Adam Schefter made sure to fix the problem by sharing a link to the show.

On the field, Brady and the Buccaneers face the Falcons in Week 2. It remains to be seen if he will address Wednesday’s tweet in his next episode.
