Tom Cruise landed in a helicopter in a family camp and offered them a trip

Imagine Tom Cruise landing from the sky in the back garden, literally. A UK family was taken by surprise when the actor landed in a helicopter at his camp, and then let them go for a walk.

Cruise is in Europe filming the latest film “Mission: Impossible” and was supposed to shoot in Birmingham, UK. The nearby airport was closed and Cruise, which was traveling by helicopter, needed a place to land, BBC News reports.

Alison Webb was asked if her field in nearby Warwickshire could be used to land a helicopter for an “unnamed VIP” late, she told BBC News.

When the helicopter landed, none other than Tom Cruise came out.

“I thought it would be great for the kids to see the helicopter land in the garden,” Webb said. “He [Tom Cruise] it basically came and went and it was like, wow. “

Webb said Cruise immediately approached his children and “hit” them to greet them and thank them. “Then he said that if the kids would like to be able to get on the helicopter,” he said.

Cruise allowed the kids for a walk while going to a meeting. “It turned out to be an amazing day,” Webb said. “It was surreal. I still can’t believe it happened.”

Cruise has I spent a lot of time in Europe in recent months. According to Reuters, production of the seventh “Mission: Impossible” closed in February 2020 while filming in Italy. Filming resumed in September and moved to London in December.

The film, by Paramount Pictures (a division of ViacomCBS), was scheduled for release in November 2021, but was released on May 27, 2022, according to Variety.

The cruise has been seen several times during his stay in Europe. Dozens in Birmingham have captured photographs of the actor filming at Grand Central Mall, BBC News reports. Part of the center is closed to the public until Wednesday this week as filming takes place.

On Saturday, a cruise was also seen at a local Indian restaurant. After ordering two plates of tikka masala chicken from Asha’s, locals began calling him “Two Tikkas Tom,” BBC News reports.

Some speculated if it was really Cruise, but Nouman Farooqu, the restaurant’s general manager, told BBC News it was “100%” him. He came with a group of five and ordered dishes to share, and then ordered seconds, Farooqu said. The restaurant also posted photos of Cruise with staff members on Facebookl.
