Tom Cruise does his own tricks, even in his spare time.
The action star, who is filming the seventh installment of “Mission Impossible” in the UK, was forced to land an emergency helicopter in a Warwickshire garden due to the temporary closure of Coventry Airport .
“It turned out to be an amazing day,” owner Alison Webb told the BBC. “It was surreal. I still can’t believe it happened.”
Webb and his family were told their camp was necessary for an “anonymous VIP who arrived late.” It turned out to be the winning triple of the Golden Globe, 59.
“I thought it would be great for the kids to see the helicopter land in the garden,” he said. “He [Cruise] it basically came and went and it was like “Wow” “
The father of three also allowed Webb’s children to take a helicopter ride while he did business around town.
“He went straight to the kids to chat, then he came and hit us and said‘ thank you so much, ’” he explained. “Then he said that if the kids would like to be able to get on the helicopter.”
Cruise is currently believed to be dating “Mission: Impossible 7” co-star Hayley Atwell, with whom she attended the Wimbledon finals last month.
In June, Cruise was due to isolate itself after the cast of “Mission: Impossible” and crew members tested positive for COVID-19. The heavyweight Hollywood fan was infamously caught in the audio last year according to reports, attacking the set workers who said COVID-19 protocols were not taken seriously.
