Tom Cruise “surprises NHS staff with secret visit to thank them for working on a pandemic”

Tom Cruise reportedly surprised NHS staff by thanking them for working on the coronavirus pandemic.

The 58-year-old film star is believed to have secretly visited the ExCel Center in east London last Thursday to “pay a personal tribute to top-notch healthcare staff”.

It comes after Mission Impossible 7 finally ended after a series of delays and amid claims that the star had fired at the crew for violating the rules of social distancing on set.

A source told The Sun: “He told his team that he wanted to pay his personal tribute to the front-line medical staff who have helped bring the films back.

“They were very shocked to see such a huge movie star. Tom wanted to keep it a secret and make sure it was a good surprise for them.

“The world had heard his crew dispute on set and that demonstrated the seriousness he has taken from the pandemic.”

MailOnline has contacted representatives from Tom Cruise and the ExCel Center for further comments.

The ExCel Center is now a major vaccination center with another part of the site being used for the new NHS Nightingale Hospital Rehabilitation Center.

Speaking in January, London Mayor Sadiq Khan said: “I want to thank our brilliant NHS staff who have transformed the Excel Center to use it as a new large-scale vaccination site, in addition to preparing the NHS Nightingale Hospital will open as a new patient rehabilitation facility in a different part of the center.

“This will be crucial in freeing up much-needed beds in all London hospitals, while accelerating vaccine deployment.”

Cruise’s visit comes after the filming of Mission: Impossible 7, followed by a global marathon schedule interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Filming in Mission: Impossible 7 was scheduled to begin in Italy in February 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic delayed it until July 2020.

Filming began in the UK, moved to Norway and then to Italy, where it stopped once again after twelve crew members tested positive for coronavirus.

The film was also affected by claims that five crew members “quit smoking” after Cruise “threw himself into a second dispute” after his fury by staff who violated COVID rules.

Cruise is said to have given staff suits after catching them in breach of UK COVID-19 standards at Warner Bros. Studios. of Leavesden.

A source claimed after the news of the first outbreak was made public, there has been “more anger” over the already “tense” production.

It was also previously reported that the star scolded workers who violated social distancing rules while filming at Warner Bros. Studios.

Invoking the senseless attitude of his character, Ethan Hunt, the actor is said to have told them, “If I see you do it again, you’re gone.”

The diary said the suit was taped to an audio tape, in which it is heard to add: “And if anyone in this crew does it, that’s it, and you and you too.

And you, never do it again. We will not close this film.

The American actor got angry after seeing that the couple was less than a meter away from the computer screen.

MailOnline contacted Tom Cruise representatives at the time.

Last month, director Christopher McQuarrie posted on Instagram that Mission Impossible production had finally ended in Abu Dhabi and was heading to “return to London to give it the finishing touches.”

Delays due to the pandemic, however, mean that Star Cruise’s plan to go straight into the shooting of an eighth film must have been abandoned, Deadline.com reported.

M: I-7 is scheduled to premiere on November 19th. But first, Cruise has another great movie: the sequel to Top Gun.

Top Gun: Maverick will open in theaters on July 2 and Cruise will need to be available to promote the film worldwide.

That means he can’t start making the eighth film in the Mission: Impossible franchise right away, as he had intended.

The eighth film has been listed by Paramount for release on November 4, 2022, but it seems likely that date will have to go back.

Nearing completion: McQuarrie released an impressive plan and said filming was over after a stay in Abu Dhabi and was heading to London to put “a few tweaks” into the project
