CLEVELAND – Tommy Fury remains undefeated in his professional boxing career.
The potential pointed to MMA wrestler Anthony Taylor in a unanimous decision victory in Paul’s payout event against Woodley on Sunday night. The two competed in a four-round cruising weightlifting competition.
The boxing event Paul Vs. Woodley takes place at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio. Card broadcasts are posted live at 7pm ET on Showtime Sports.
Although it meant a clear victory for Fury, he was not able to defeat or overthrow the much younger and inexperienced Taylor.
Immediately, in the first round, Fury pressed Taylor, supporting him with the spike. Taylor started a lot of effort during the first two minutes. In the last minute, Fury was scoring Taylor with combinations, but not enough to hurt the MMA fighter. Taylor seeks to get a dirty box with the English man.
The second, third and fourth were in Fury’s favor. “TNT” was tagging Taylor most of the time. Taylor was unable to get a significant offense and was also unable to tie Fury to the clinch.

With the win, Fury is now 7-0 in his professional boxing career with four qualifiers to his name. The 22-year-old is a former Love Island contestant and is the younger brother of heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury.
In his post-fight interview, Fury called Jake Paul for a fight. For many months, he has been struggling with the YouTube star.
Meanwhile, Taylor, an MMA wrestler, entered the contest with only one professional boxing bout under his belt, which he had lost by knockout. Taylor, who typically competes in 145 and 155 pounds, is in a five-win streak in MMA, with his last win over Chris Avila under the Bellator banner in early 2020. Taylor is now 0-2 in boxing.
