Tourist suffers fall from a ‘scooter’ while driving on AMA lane

A Florida tourist was hit by a scooter while driving on the Metropolitan Bus Authority (AMA) bus lane at Ponce Avenue in Leon, intersection of Hoare Street. Weather in Santurce.

According to preliminary information, the plaintiff, identified as Marivette Sicardo, was driving a ‘scooter’ when she lost control and fell to the pavement. She suffered lacerations to her left knee and arm.

A paramedic arrived at the scene and transported the injured to Doctor’s Hospital in Santurce. Its condition is stable.

This incident was investigated by agent Moisès Díaz, of the Municipal Police of San Juan.
