The day of the February national signing of college football is here.
Although the NCAA enacted a deadlock in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic since last March, meaning recruits have been unable to make official visits, recruitment has continued as normal. The initial signing period of December was coming and going, and now the usual signing period is taking place.
Wednesday is the last day that high school recruits can sign their national letters of intent to close them at the schools of their choice.
Most ESPN 300 prospects put the pen on paper during the first period of December. Of the top 300 potential customers, 10 are committed but not signed and 11 are not committed and do not sign.
“College Football Live: Signing Day Special” airs Wednesday at 4pm ET on ESPN2.
