Travis Scott has provided 50,000 hot meals to Houston area residents struggling after the Texas freeze.
The 29-year-old hitmaker made the charity donation through a partnership between his charity, the Cactus Jack Foundation, the City of Houston and the Houston Health Foundation.

Two of the organizations involved in the effort are the National Association of Christian Churches and the Black Service Chamber.
The American winter storm of February 13-17, also known as the Uri winter storm, began in the Pacific Northwest and quickly headed for the composer’s home state of Texas.
Record-breaking temperatures were recorded in much of the state, and snowstorms affected many at-risk residents.

Severe conditions: The Uri winter storm began earlier this month and went to the native state of Scott, Texas, where it caused extreme weather conditions and caused widespread power outages.
Massive power outages also occurred in many cities and communities and left thousands of people without water or electricity during the weather event.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott issued a disaster statement on Feb. 12, which was passed by President Joe Biden two days later.
Although the Texas Electric Reliability Council restored electricity to some 600,000 Texans on Feb. 17, the situation remains dire for millions of people.
As of last Sunday, at least 8.8 million residents were still under orders for boiling water, according to NBC News.
Houston and Austin were previously under water restrictions, although the two cities were considered to be in a stable situation last week.

Scott founded the Cactus Jack Foundation last year with the intention of enriching the lives of young people in the Houston area.
The foundation’s first initiative was the launch of the Waymon Webster HBCU scholarship program, which aimed to cover tuition fees for college students financially affected by the global pandemic.
Last December, the Sicko Mode composer organized a toy event in his hometown; Christmas trees and warm clothes were also distributed during the charity function.
Scott’s ex-girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, and the couple’s three-year-old daughter Stormi also made appearances during the toy.
The social media personality commemorated the event with a post on her Instagram story where her son was shown supporting his father during the performance.
