The closed-door event took place primarily at the Four Seasons complex in Palm Beach. However, guests were taken to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort to hear him speak, according to a CNN report.
“We are meeting tonight to talk about the future of the Republican party and what we need to do to lead our candidates to victory,” Trump is expected to say, according to remarks obtained by The Associated Press.

Trump is also expected to explain to donors that the Republican party will be able to take advantage of immigration and the management of the issue by the Biden administration to reclaim the House, Senate and White House.
“Illegal border crossings are now higher than at any time since 2006,” Fox News reported in Trump’s prepared statements. “Only in this issue can we win the House, the Senate and the White House.”
Trump throughout his presidency promoted his immigration policies, including his 2020 campaign.
The Biden administration has garnered criticism from Democrats and Republicans who disagree with its treatment of the issue. The U.S.-Mexico border has experienced an increase in unaccompanied minors since Biden took office, causing a delay in the processing of migrants amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Figures released by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in March show that U.S. authorities found more than 172,000 migrants at the border last month. The number marks an increase of 71 percent over the February statistics, the highest rise since 2006.

It is unclear at this time whether Trump will run for the White House again in 2024.
Trump has already handed out a handful of endorsements for 2022, the most recent endorsing Senator Marcio Rubio (R-Fla.), his former main opponent for Friday’s re-election.
