Trump uses the official POTUS account to deal with Twitter and the “radical left” after the ban

Shortly after being permanently banned from Twitter last Friday, President Trump used the government’s official @POTUS account to discuss the social media giant that was allegedly in cohoot with the “radical left” to silence him and the “patriots” who support him. Twitter almost immediately removed the tweets, which it had announced just hours before the president’s personal account had been “permanently suspended” and warned that any attempt to circumvent that ban with government accounts would lead to further suspensions. The attempt to use the @TeamTrump account to ask its followers was also reduced, with the account almost immediately suspended. While Trump was ripped from the platform for repeatedly using inflammatory rhetoric to encourage his followerseven after his supporters began the violent Capitol revolt that left five dead his now deleted tweets from the @POTUS account continued along this line to a large extent. “We will not be silent! Twitter is not about SPEECH GRATU, T ”, he wrote. Unfortunately for him, Twitter wasn’t the only one to take a stand against incendiary content on Friday. Google Play also suspended Parler, a starting point for MAGA fans who have left or been banned from Twitter. According to reports, Apple also gave Parler an ultimatum to moderate its content or remove it from the App Store.
