Former President Donald Trump will return to social media in the coming months and, with his own service, his chief adviser said Sunday.
Jason Miller told Fox News’ “Media Buzz” that the former president would return in two to three months and launch a new platform that claimed it would “completely redefine the game” and attract tens of millions of users.
Twitter removed Trump from its platform in January just days after a crowd of supporters marched on the Capitol as Congress certified President Biden’s 2020 election.
The crowd passed over police officers and broke windows and doors to gain access to the federal building, where they looted several Congressional offices. Five people died as a result of the chaos, including a Capitol police officer.
Twitter said Trump was “permanently suspended” for inciting “violence,” cutting him off from his 88.6 million followers.
