Trump’s legal team came out after a furious pay dispute, according to the report

Last week it was reported that Donald Trump’s dismissal legal team collapsed days before the trial began for fears that the former president would force them to continue selling their ridiculous electoral conspiracy theories. But, according to Axios, this is not the whole story. Trump and the man were reportedly his main attorney, Butch Bowers, who had a furious disagreement over compensation. Bowers and Trump are said to have initially agreed to a $ 250,000 fee for their individual services, but then Bowers returned to Trump with a list of other expenses for more lawyers and investigators. Axios reports that Bowers’ total payment request reached $ 3 million, which “infuriated” Trump, who tried to haggle Bowers up to $ 1 million. Trump’s greed is said to have partially provoked five members of Trump’s law enforcement team. Trump announced over the weekend his new team of Bruce Castor and David Schoen.
