In recent recent events, Apple has used hashflags, which are small icons next to hashtags on Twitter, as a way to market its events. The company first started the tradition with “#AppleEvent” during the September event of the iPad Air and Apple Watch and has maintained it ever since.

For the upcoming April 20 event, the hashflag mimics the colorful event logo used on Apple invitations and other promotional materials for next week’s event.

Bloomberg has reported that Apple plans to introduce a new 12.9-inch high-end iPad Pro with a mini-LED display, performance at the same level as the Apple M1 silicon, and improved support for accessories such as external monitors. It is also rumored that Apple will launch its highly anticipated AirTags tracker, which could see its debut at the event.
