Earlier this month, Capcom revealed the official height of Lady Dimitrescu, one of the main antagonists of Resident Evil Village. At 9’6, the character dominates the protagonist Ethan Winters, as well as almost all the other video game heroes, including the protagonists of the Assassin’s Creed franchise. On Twitter, Ubisoft posted an image of Dimitrescu, comparing his height with Eivor and Basim Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Dimitrescu’s stature has pleased a good chunk of the Resident Evil fan base, and it looks like Ubisoft was eager to get into the memes that have become increasingly common over the past month.

It may seem a little strange for Ubisoft to promote Capcom’s upcoming entry into the Resident Evil franchise, but the two publishers seem to have a good relationship at the moment. This month, Ubisoft’s The division 2 has a connecting event celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Resident Evil franchise. Until Feb. 15, players can receive items based on the first three games in the Resident Evil franchise, including Leon S. Kennedy’s RPD suit. Resident Evil and Assassin’s Creed are unlikely to end up getting a crossover of their own, but it seems like anything is possible.
Outside of the height of the character, there are still many things that Resident Evil fans don’t know about Lady Dimitrescu. The character and his daughters will play a central role in Resident Evil Village, and players will be forced to treat them as they make their way through Dimitrescu Castle. While the fan base clearly loves the villain at the moment, it remains to be seen whether or not he will remain the villain once the players are forced to deal with him. Of course, Eivor would probably have more facilities to fight the bad than Ethan.
Resident Evil Village will launch on May 7 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC. In the meantime, you can check out all of our previous game coverage here.
