UEFA opens case for alleged racist insults against Ibrahimovic

The racist insults received by Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the last 16 of the Europa League against Partizan are already being taken into account by UEFA, which has opened a case to investigate

The match was played behind closed doors due to restrictions by the covid-19 and Ibrahimovic, who was not a starter, sat behind the benches along with other substitutes and staff of the Italian club.

The Red Star apologized to Ibrahimovic after the meeting in a statement in which he assured that he would work with local authorities to identify the person who uttered the insults.
