UNC Health does not expect long lines at vaccine clinics :: WRAL.com

– Many people have been frustrated by the way vaccines have been administered throughout the triangle. Some places have had to keep away old people waiting in long lines. Others were forced to wait more than 5 hours in queues.

On Monday, UNC Health opens its vaccine clinics, but does not expect long queues. People will need to make appointments before arriving at the clinic.

On Monday morning, 850 people will be vaccinated at the Friday Center in Chapel Hill.

More than 10,000 coronavirus vaccine appointments have been scheduled this week at UNC Health clinics for people 65 and older.

Appointments are full this week, so health officials suggest you check back next week for more appointments. If UNC receives more doses of vaccine, more appointments will be opened.
