The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, located in the state of Florida, in the United States, announced this Thursday, February 11 through a statement that they are looking for Joseph Davis, a man who stole his girlfriend’s engagement ring to propose marriage to another woman.
The subject, 48 years old, He is wanted on charges of aggravated theft after stealing and betraying his two girlfriends, whom he met on the dating site OKCupid.

According to authorities, he used the nickname ‘Joe Brown’ with one of his partners and Marcus Brown ‘with the other.
The double life of the criminal was discovered by one of his girlfriends. The woman, who lives in Orange City, Florida, and who had been dating Davis since 2015, she learned via Facebook that her boyfriend was engaged to another woman.
It was thanks to an image posted on this social network, that she realized that the recently engaged he wore a ring equal to one of the headquarters of a previous marriage.
He then checked his jeweler and noticed that this and other valuables were missing. All stolen by Davis costs about $ 6,270, about 22 million pesos.

She also told authorities that Davis once took her to her first partner’s home in Orange City while she was working.

The two women decided to report the man together.

The wanted man is a former convict with a criminal record that includes an active court order in the state of Oregon for a hit-and-run, domestic assault and cocaine possession.
