U.S. President Joe Biden on Thursday signed a series of executive orders aimed at intensifying the prevention of VOCID-19.
Among these, there is the requirement to present a negative proof of VOCID-19 upon entering this country. This goes in line with demanding compliance with the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that on January 12 established this requirement.
According to the White House, health and transportation authorities will define, before January 26, the type of COVID-19 exam that travelers must take and the type of negative result test to present.

This will be based on the guidelines of the CDC, which on its website states that “air passengers must undergo a viral test (a current infection test) within 3 days before the departure of their wants and provide written documentation of the result of the laboratory test (paper or electronic) to the airline or provide documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 “.

Options in El Salvador
One exam available in El Salvador is the PCR-RT, a molecular test that only the Ministry of Health does and three authorized laboratories: Max Bloch, Analyze and Diagnostic Hospital (Graón). Its cost is between $ 150 and $ 165.
Some countries also accept an antigen test, which is done by swab (like PCR-RT), delivered in 40 minutes and costs between $ 90 and $ 98.
The country is also testing for C-reactive protein, which measures the level of inflammation in the body. This is in the blood and is not used to detect the Sars-Cov-2 virus.
