Paulo de la Cruz’s career is just starting, but this time he will have to continue on his way away from University. The 21-year-old did not enter the plans of angel Comizzo for the 2021 season and for that reason he became a free agent, which for now has not been signed by any team.
A few weeks after learning of his departure from the cream shop, the footballer explained details in an interview with Gol Peru. “Leaving University has been complicated, but it has been for an issue of improvement and to achieve the desired continuity. For football I think it has been good,” said Paulo de la Cruz.
The youth and great quality he has with the ball could open the doors of some teams in Ligue 1 for this new season. “I was sent to play with the reserve and the confrontation. This is football, you have ups and downs. Now I am analyzing proposals,” he added at the wheel during the conversation.
“For now I don’t have anything concrete. I feel like I have a lot to give yet, I am recently 21 years old,” the footballer stressed. Time is advancing and you will have to speed up the process to sign for some team before they finish assembling, as it also needs a preseason to dock.
Finally, he expressed some regret for leaving University. “It made me nostalgic to see my teammates from the screen,” Paulo de la Cruz ruled. Football takes many turns and an opportunity to return to Liga in the future, after standing out at a good level, can be presented to him.
