The ascent has been updated for Xbox and Windows 10 on Thursday, putting it on par with the version that Steam gamers have had almost two weeks. Some things have been fixed, but it seems to have broken a lot as well.
Released in late July, The ascent is a dual stick sci-fi shooter for Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC, intended to be played cooperatively by up to four players. But, like many recent multiplayer games, it was released with several issues, from minor (framerate failure) to major (fully busted multiplayer).

Problems with errors successes persist, which has the developer Neon Giant recognized. And an even player he says they completely lost their high-level character in trying to start a cooperative game.
