Los Angeles – USC men’s basketball program suspends team proceedings due to confirmed case of COVID-19. As a result, the Back-12 game between USC and Stanford at the Galen Center this evening (Sunday, Dec. 13) has been postponed. Pack-12 will work with both projects to try to find a mutually acceptable date to reconsider the competition.
USC Student Health and USC Athletic Medical Staff will conduct contact tracking. The person who did the positive test was identified before contacting anyone expected to participate in the game tonight. The person who tested positive was isolated. The Pack-12 conference has been warned.
Additional information on the status of other U.S. basketball games this week ā at home against San Francisco on Dec. 16 and in the state of Oregon on Dec. 20 ā will be provided later.
